Hi! I'm Jenessa! I love sports and am attracted to sparkly things like a moth to a flame. For the longest time, I thought those two things had to be mutually exclusive. After living in the New Orleans area for nearly a decade, I learned that literally EVERYTHING in life is a cause for celebration - and that you can never have too much glitter!

I grew up in North Carolina during the "wine and cheese" age of sports here when fans were encouraged to do... well, not much. I moved back to the area just in time for the start of the Charlotte FC and to witness fans finally breaking out of that boring mold. That's when I knew I could bring my sparkly experience to the area and help Charlotte shine a little brighter.

I originally started Crownfolk to give female fans more options for gameday accessories, but love how it has become something EVERYONE can enjoy! I love interacting with customers and seeing our products on the Jumbotron. I hope Crownfolk continues to grow and provide a way for people - even beyond sports - to celebrate the small stuff!

When I'm not making accessories, I work full time as a fisheries biologist and enjoy sports (duh!), traveling, working out, and spending time with my husband Will and our two silly dogs, Bindi and Vic. I am grateful to have grown up in a house where making things from scratch was the norm and to have a partner who supports all my crazy ideas - including making glitter for all our wedding guests to wear at our reception!
